Happy Father's Day

Hello everybody! :) I hope that you all had a wonderful Father's Day and I wish each and every one of your father's a beautiful day. I think that it is important to take the time to show your dad that you love him through your words, actions each and everyday, not just on Father's day. I think that as I have gotten older, I really learned to appreciate my dad more. I learned that it is a blessing to have the opportunity to spend time and grow closer to your dad. Here are some meaningful Father's Day quotes :)

"One father is more than a hundred Schoolemasters."  ~George Herbert, Outlandish Proverbs, 1640

"Sherman made the terrible discovery that men make about their fathers sooner or later... that the man before him was not an aging father but a boy, a boy much like himself, a boy who grew up and had a child of his own and, as best he could, out of a sense of duty and, perhaps love, adopted a role called Being a Father so that his child would have something mythical and infinitely important: a Protector, who would keep a lid on all the chaotic and catastrophic possibilities of life."  ~Tom Wolfe, The Bonfire of the Vanities
