Korean Food is so good!

Hello all! :) So I tried pineapple soju and apple soju this weekend! I know that's nothing spectacular however; what made this experience unique is that the flavored soju came in a actually frozen pineapple as well as real apples in a shot glass! :) I thought this was super cute, clever and fun despite the fact that the taste seemed watered down and each of them were $20. However; it did have enough to share with friends. It was a cool new experience. By the way for people who never tried soju, soju is a type of Korean hard alcohol.

I tried making this before on the grill with canned corns and cheese on top. However; the ones at the Korean restaurants are always the best!

Dukboki - Spicy Rice Cakes (one of my favorites)

Lawry's Carvery : The Prime Rib

One of my favorite food is prime rib! I already posted a picture of Flemming's Prime rib which is excellent but here's another delicious prime rib from Lawry's Carvery. My boyfriend took me here for my 22nd Birthday (thank you boyfriend) :) Lawry's Carvery is located in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. Lawry's Carvery is great for lunch because they deliver the food quick and makes for a scrumptious and delightful quick lunch! The prime rib is cost friendly ($20 for the 8oz) and tastes tender and delicious. The prime rib also comes in either the 8oz. or the 12oz and includes horseradish, coleslaw and your choice of a side. I decided to get the macaroni and cheese and my boyfriend decided to get the creamed corn which were both pretty good. When you are in the area give it a try! There is another Lawry's located in Beverly Hills. :)

Tory Burch Tote/Purse :)

 I am a huge fan of Tory Burch! I love their elegant emblem and how they feel so comfortable when it comes to their flats. I just bought this Tory Burch Tote/Purse! It is so BEAUTIFUL and definitely big enough to fit everything I would need. They also have other colors and patterns! :)

Yet Another Pair of Leopard Sunglasses That I Love

If you read my Leopard Sunglasses post in the past, then you know that I absolutely love leopard sunglasses! For my birthday I was given this pair of Ray Ban leopard sunglasses that I adore! I love how they glow in the sun and it actually kind of remind me of a giraffe pattern as well :)

Goodie Bags :)

I made some goodie bags the other day and usually I use real store bought goodie bags but I didn't have any at home. Instead I resorted to tissue paper. I cut two different shades of pink tissue paper into long rectangles (long enough to hold the candy inside), then I put them into a + shape. After that I picked up the 4 sides and twisted the tissue paper and that created a tiny pouch. Then  I used red ribbon and wrapped it around the pouch, tied a bow and that held the pouch together. Maybe if you ever have to wrap a quick gift, this can makes a good alternative :)

Too Hungry to Speak

Hello lovely ladies! Sorry about my recent lack of posts. I just turned 22 this Monday so I have been pretty busy! :) Here are some pictures from my dinner at Flemmings! They have an amazing deal on Sundays: $36 Prime Rib that comes with your choice of salad (three choices) and one side entree as well as a complementary desert. I thought the food was absolutely delicious and I have never had prime rib this soft, it literally melts in your mouth! When you have time, give Flemming's a try! :)

Oyster Shooters

Hi lovely ladies! :) I know what everyone's thinking: How can you eat that?! Oyster shooters? Raw oysters?! Yes! I love oysters. Next time you get the opportunity to go to an All You Can Eat Sushi restaurant, ask the waiters for oyster shooters. Usually they are not on the menu so you would have to ask. Oyster shooters usually contain a raw oyster, a raw quail egg, some masago, some green onion, hot sauce, and some salty sauce all in a small shot glass. I ordered some oyster shooters along with some quail shooters and boy was it delicious! I love the sweet and salty combination along with the various textures of the oyster and the raw quail egg. If you dare, give it a try! :) 

Warning: Make sure the place you are going to try oyster shooters is very clean because sometimes oysters can cause food poisoning or stomach bacteria. I actually gotten food poisoning from eating raw oysters once! Eat at your own risk.

Oyster Shooters Recipes :)

Shooter #1:

• 1 raw oyster
• 1 teaspoon cocktail sauce
• 1 lemon wedge

Shooter #2:

• 1 raw oyster
• 1 teaspoon cocktail sauce
• 1 lemon wedge
• Vodka

Shooter #3:

• 1 raw oyster
• Tomato juice
• Hot sauce
• Lemon wedge

 Directions

1. Add oyster to shot glass, place cocktail sauce on top then squeeze lemon juice over top.
2. Place oyster in shot glass, top with desired amount of vodka, add cocktail sauce and squeeze lemon over top.
3. Place oyster in a glass, cover with tomato juice, top with hot sauce and squeeze lemon over top.
